Arencia
Arencia: Korean skincare with rice mochi and retinal
Arencia is a South Korean skincare brand known for its Rice Mochi cleansers with a distinctive elastic texture and its Booster Shot serum range. Its “Time-Crafted Artisanal Skincare” approach highlights thoughtful formulations and the experience of everyday skincare.
Is your skin texture uneven, are the first fine lines showing, and would you like to start retinoids carefully? From Arencia, we stock the Retinal Booster Shot.
Why we chose Arencia
Retinal Booster Shot is a lightweight gel-cream serum with retinal. For those new to retinal, this is a clearly defined option: the brand states a 0.02% retinal concentration, and the serum has a clear place in an evening routine. Niacinamide, bakuchiol and peptides complement the formula.
Use the serum in the evening only, 1–2 times a week at first, and always apply SPF in the morning. Do not use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Who Arencia is for
- You are dealing with uneven skin texture and the first fine lines.
- You are new to retinal and want a concentration stated by the brand.
- You have a simple evening routine and want to add one active serum.
Do not combine retinal with acids in the same evening routine, for example the Sungboon Editor Kojic Acid or Green Tomato ampoules (they contain a PHA). Alternate them on different evenings.

Arencia: frequently asked questions
Is Arencia a Korean brand?
Yes. Arencia is a South Korean skincare brand. It is known for its Rice Mochi cleansers with an elastic texture and its Booster Shot serum range.
Do you sell Arencia Rice Mochi?
Not at the moment. From Arencia we stock the Retinal Booster Shot.
How do I start with the Arencia retinal serum?
Apply a small amount to clean skin in the evening, 1–2 times a week at first. If your skin is comfortable, increase gradually. Always use SPF in the morning. If you notice burning or peeling, skip the serum and go back to simple, well-tolerated care.
Is retinal the same as retinol?
No. Retinal and retinol are both vitamin A derivatives. Retinal requires one fewer conversion step to become retinoic acid. Tolerability also depends on concentration, formulation and skin condition, so introduce new retinoids gradually.
