Product detailed description

Tinted eye cream · Care plus a more even-looking eye area

In the morning your eyes look tired in the mirror, the shadows underneath are visible even after a good night's sleep and concealer quickly settles into the delicate skin. Dr.Melaxin Cemenrete Calcium Dark Spot Eye Cream is a beige-tinted eye cream that combines two things: conditioning ingredients (niacinamide, adenosine, calcium and allantoin) and beige pigments that may help the eye area look more even after application. The tint is an optical effect, does not address the underlying causes of dark circles and comes off when you remove your makeup. Unlike a regular eye cream, it offers a more even-looking eye area on top of the care.

In the morning, after your moisturiser, apply a small amount in a thin layer under the eyes. Follow the manufacturer's directions when combining it with SPF and check how the products layer together. The tinted eye cream does not replace UV protection. At VIONE, we recommend it if you want to simplify your morning routine. It is not a concealer: the visible effect depends on skin tone, the amount applied and the application technique.

  • Type: tinted eye cream with beige pigments, 15 g
  • Suitable for: a tired-looking eye area, light shadows and dark circles under the eyes, fine lines
  • Key ingredients: niacinamide, adenosine, calcium (calcium gluconate), allantoin, beige pigments (titanium dioxide, iron oxides)
  • Fragrance-free · Eye care step, mainly in the morning after moisturiser; follow the manufacturer's directions for combining it with SPF

Routine step

Cleanse Toner / essence Serum Moisturiser Eye care SPF Exfoliation Mask

Dr.Melaxin Cemenrete Calcium Dark Spot Eye Cream is the Eye care step. Apply the cream after your moisturiser. Follow the manufacturer's directions when combining it with SPF and check how the products layer together. The tinted eye cream does not replace UV protection.

Who the Dr.Melaxin tinted eye cream is for

  • Shadows under your eyes are visible even after a good night's sleep, and you want your eye area to look fresher in the morning.
  • Concealer settles into fine lines, and you are looking for a morning eye cream that also helps the eye area look more even.
  • You want to simplify your morning routine: eye cream and a more even-looking eye area in one step.
  • You are looking for a fragrance-free eye cream with a light texture that, according to retailers, works well with makeup.
  • You use the Dr.Melaxin Calcium Volume patches and want a cream from the same range to follow them.

When to choose something else: you want an eye cream without silicones and pigments, your skin is very fair or deeper and a single beige shade may not match it, or you need to cover dark circles. For coverage, a concealer is the better choice.

Texture, shade and skin feel

  • Beige shade: the cream comes in a single beige shade, which retailers describe as a natural beige. The colour comes from titanium dioxide and iron oxides.
  • Light cream texture: retailers describe it as silky, quick to absorb and non-sticky, and suitable under makeup.
  • Contains silicones: the formula contains silicones (including cyclopentasiloxane), which are used in skincare for a smooth feel and easy spreading.
  • Fragrance-free and free from denatured alcohol (Alcohol Denat.).

Tip: try the shade on a small amount under your eye in daylight first. If it doesn't match, you can use the cream in the evening purely as care, although an untinted eye cream will do the job there too.

Key ingredients: niacinamide, adenosine, calcium and beige pigments

  • Beige pigments (titanium dioxide, iron oxides CI 77491 and CI 77492): give the cream its shade and may help the eye area look more even after application. This is an optical effect; it does not address the underlying causes of dark circles.
  • Niacinamide (vitamin B3): may help support the skin barrier and hydration. In skincare it is also used in products aimed at a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
  • Adenosine: a conditioning ingredient that Korean skincare uses in products aimed at fine lines.
  • Calcium (Calcium Gluconate): Calcium Gluconate is part of the formula, and the brand links it to the Cemenrete range. The available ingredient information does not establish that it independently reduces the appearance of dark circles or firms the eye area.
  • Allantoin, collagen extract, hydrolysed elastin and Tremella mushroom: additional conditioning ingredients included in the formula.

How to use Dr.Melaxin Cemenrete Calcium Dark Spot Eye Cream

  • 1. Cleanse and tone: in the morning, a gentle cleanser or just water is enough, followed by toner.
  • 2. Serum and moisturiser: your usual facial care. Let the moisturiser absorb for a moment.
  • 3. Eye cream: in the morning, apply a small amount in a thin layer under the eyes, avoiding the eyelid and lashes, and gently pat it in with your fingertips until absorbed. Don't rub; patting spreads the tint more evenly.
  • 4. SPF: follow the manufacturer's directions when combining the cream with SPF and check how the products layer together. Apply sufficient sunscreen evenly; the tinted eye cream does not replace UV protection.
  • 5. Makeup: as needed; use concealer wherever you want it.
  • In the evening: you can use the cream too, but you don't need the tint in the evening. If you only want care, an untinted eye cream is enough.

For external use only. Do not apply to the eyes or to broken or irritated skin. If the cream gets into your eyes, rinse them with water.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Dr.Melaxin Cemenrete Calcium Dark Spot Eye Cream

Does the cream cover dark circles, or does it only care for the skin?

The cream contains pigments that may help the under-eye area look more even after application. It does not address the underlying causes of dark circles. The visible effect depends on skin tone, the amount applied and the application technique. The pigment effect disappears when you cleanse. The cream comes in a single beige shade, so it may not match very fair or deeper skin tones. If you need to cover dark circles, a concealer is the better choice.

Is the cream suitable for a sensitive eye area?

The cream contains no fragrance and no denatured alcohol. It does, however, contain silicones, pigments and sweet almond fruit extract. If you have a confirmed almond allergy, do not use it without prior advice from a qualified healthcare professional. If the skin around your eyes is easily irritated, test for tolerance on a small area first. If your eye area starts stinging, turns red or begins to flake, stop using newly introduced products and return to a simple, well-tolerated routine. Consult a dermatologist if symptoms persist.

How soon will I see a difference?

The optical effect of the pigments may be visible as soon as you apply the cream, but it depends on skin tone, the amount applied and the application technique. Any change in the appearance of the eye area from the conditioning ingredients cannot be guaranteed within a specific timeframe; it depends on your skin's condition and individual response. Dark circles can be linked to pigmentation, visible blood vessels, facial structure, tiredness or genetics, and skincare does not address many of these causes. If dark circles or puffiness appear suddenly, consult a doctor.

Does the cream contain silicones? Is it vegan?

The cream contains silicones (cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane and dimethiconol) and pigments. If you avoid silicones, choose a different eye cream. We cannot confirm that the formula is vegan, as the origin of collagen and elastin has not been verified. Tranexamic acid and vitamin D are not listed in the available INCI.

How is it different from Mary May Tranexamic Acid + Glutathione Eye Cream and PURITO Centella Eye Cream?

The main differences are the tint and the formula. Mary May Tranexamic Acid + Glutathione Eye Cream contains tranexamic acid and glutathione and no pigments. PURITO Wonder Releaf Centella Eye Cream Unscented is a fragrance-free eye cream with centella and peptides, also without pigments. Dr.Melaxin is beige-tinted and, on top of the care, contains pigments for a more even-looking eye area. Tranexamic acid is not listed in the available INCI for this cream. If you want an untinted eye cream, choose Mary May or PURITO.

Do I also need the Dr.Melaxin Calcium Volume patches?

No, each product works on its own. Dr.Melaxin Cemenrete Calcium Volume Eye Patch are hydrogel patches from the same range (niacinamide, calcium, collagen) that you apply after toner as an extra step. The tinted cream is an everyday morning step after your moisturiser. If you want to use both, apply the patches first and the eye cream after your moisturiser.

Who is the cream not for, and when should I choose another product?

Skip the cream if you avoid silicones or pigments in skincare, require vegan skincare, or have a confirmed allergy to almonds or any other ingredient. A single beige shade may not match very fair or deeper skin tones. If you need to cover dark circles, reach for a concealer. If you have a diagnosed skin condition around your eyes, discuss new skincare with your dermatologist. For everyday care without a tint, consider PURITO Wonder Releaf Centella Eye Cream Unscented.

Can I use the cream during pregnancy?

According to its ingredient list, the cream contains no retinoids. We still recommend discussing any new skincare with your doctor during pregnancy and breastfeeding and showing them the ingredient list below.

What to pair the Dr.Melaxin cream with

Practical tip: in the morning, a cleanser, moisturiser, tinted eye cream and SPF are enough. Follow the manufacturer's directions for the order of the eye cream and sunscreen. Add a serum only if your skin really needs it.
