Product detailed description

Hydrating eye-area mask · Upper and lower lids

In the morning your eye area looks tired, the skin under your eyes feels tight and concealer settles into fine lines by midday. Genabelle PDRN 360° Rejuvenating Eye Mask is a set of eye patches soaked in a hydrating essence with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, caffeine and peptides. Its hydrating character comes from the formula as a whole. Unlike classic under-eye patches, the mask is shaped, according to the brand, to cover the upper eyelid as well.

Always apply it straight after cleansing and toner, before eye cream and moisturiser, for example in the morning before makeup or in the evening when the eye area needs extra hydration. At VIONE, we recommend it as an extra step for the days that matter, not as a replacement for eye cream.

  • Type: eye mask (patches) for the upper and lower eyelid, 70 pieces, single use
  • Suitable for: a tired, dehydrated eye area, puffiness, fine lines
  • Key ingredients: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, caffeine, adenosine, peptides, PDRN (sodium DNA, hydrolysed sodium DNA)
  • Fragrance-free · Eye care step, straight after toner, before eye cream and moisturiser

Routine step

Cleanse Toner / essence Serum Moisturiser Eye care SPF Exfoliation Mask

Genabelle PDRN 360° Rejuvenating Eye Mask belongs to the Eye care step. The bar shows the type of care, not the exact order: apply the mask straight after cleansing and toner, then follow with eye cream and moisturiser. Finish with SPF in the morning.

Who the Genabelle PDRN 360° mask is for

  • You wake up with puffy eyelids, perhaps after a short night, and want your eye area to look fresher.
  • The skin around your eyes feels dry and tight, and concealer creases into fine lines during the day.
  • You want to care for your upper eyelids too, not just the area under the eye where classic patches sit.
  • Before a big day, a photo shoot or an evening out, you want to give your eye area more hydration than usual.
  • You want a simple extra hydration step, without adding another serum to your routine.

When to choose something else: you want to target pronounced dark circles or deeper wrinkles, you require verified vegan skincare (we have not been able to confirm a vegan source of the PDRN), or the skin around your eyes is easily irritated by skincare. For everyday care, an eye cream is usually the simpler option.

Shape, essence and skin feel

  • 360° shape: according to the brand, the mask is shaped to cover the upper eyelid as well as the area under the eye.
  • Patches soaked in essence: some essence stays on the skin after you remove them, ready to be patted in.
  • Cooling feel: retailers describe the feel on application as cooling and soothing.
  • Fragrance-free: no perfume and no essential oils in the formula.

Tip: if you like a more noticeable cooling effect, you can keep the pack in the fridge, unless the packaging says otherwise. Close the pack properly every time you take a pair out so the essence doesn't dry out.

Key ingredients: niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, caffeine and peptides

  • Niacinamide (vitamin B3): fourth in the INCI list. It may help support the skin barrier and hydration, and it is one of the better-researched skincare ingredients.
  • PDRN (listed as Sodium DNA and Hydrolyzed Sodium DNA): additional conditioning ingredients based on DNA fragments. Their effects when applied topically are still being studied. The mask's hydrating properties come from the formula as a whole.
  • Caffeine: may help the eye area look fresher and less tired in the morning.
  • Adenosine and two peptides (Tripeptide-1, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8): conditioning ingredients that Korean skincare often uses in products aimed at fine lines.
  • Four forms of hyaluronic acid, trehalose and polyglutamic acid: humectants that bind water and help ease the feeling of tightness around the eyes.
  • Vitamin C, cholesterol and lecithin: additional conditioning ingredients included in the formula.

How to use Genabelle PDRN 360° Rejuvenating Eye Mask

  • 1. Cleanse: a gentle cleanser; in the evening, if you wear makeup or SPF, start with a cleansing oil.
  • 2. Toner: lightly dampen your skin with toner and let it absorb.
  • 3. Mask, straight after toner: with clean hands, take out one pair and apply it as described in the brand's instructions on the packaging. According to the brand, the mask is shaped to cover the upper eyelid and the area under the eye. Don't press on your eyes and keep the essence out of them. Leave it on for the time stated on the packaging.
  • 4. After removing: gently pat the remaining essence in with your fingertips. Don't reuse a pair.
  • 5. Eye cream and moisturiser: seal in the hydration.
  • 6. SPF in the morning: as the last step, before makeup.

For external use only. Do not use on broken or irritated skin.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Genabelle PDRN 360° Rejuvenating Eye Mask

What is PDRN and what can I expect from it in an eye mask?

PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide, listed in the INCI as Sodium DNA) consists of DNA fragments. In Korea it became known mainly through aesthetic medicine, where it is injected. In skincare it is a conditioning ingredient whose effects when applied topically are still being studied. This mask is designed mainly to hydrate and care for a tired eye area. That comes from the formula as a whole, with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and caffeine, while PDRN plays a supporting role. Don't expect the effect of an in-clinic treatment.

Is the mask suitable for a sensitive eye area? Does it contain alcohol?

The formula contains no added fragrance, but Alcohol Denat. is listed among its ingredients. Its concentration and the overall formula's effect on sensitive skin cannot be reliably determined from the ingredient order alone. If your eye area is easily irritated, test for tolerance on a small area first. The formula also contains corn and broccoli extracts. If you have a confirmed allergy to any of the ingredients, do not use the product. If you are unsure about plant extracts, ask your doctor. If the area starts burning, turns red or begins to peel, remove the mask, stop using newly introduced products and return to a simple, well-tolerated routine. Consult a dermatologist if symptoms persist.

How soon will I see a difference?

Your eye area may feel more hydrated as soon as you remove the mask, depending on your skin's condition and individual response. Changes in the appearance of fine lines or puffiness cannot be guaranteed within a specific timeframe. Morning puffiness can be linked to sleep, diet or allergies, and skincare does not address those causes.

How long should I leave the mask on, and how often can I use it?

Follow the time stated on the packaging, then remove the mask and pat in the essence. The brand does not state a recommended frequency in the information available to us. If the mask suits you, use it on days when your eye area needs extra care. On ordinary days, an eye cream is enough.

Is the mask vegan? Can I use it if I have a fish allergy?

In skincare, PDRN is most often derived from salmonid fish, although other sources exist. The brand does not state the source of the PDRN in this mask in the information available to us. We have not been able to confirm a vegan source of the PDRN, so we cannot recommend the mask to customers who require verified vegan skincare. If you have a confirmed fish allergy, ask your doctor before using it and show them the ingredient list below.

How is it different from other eye patches at VIONE?

The main differences are shape and formula. The hydrogel patches Dr.Melaxin Calcium Volume Eye Patch (niacinamide, calcium, collagen), Medi-Peel Red Lactocollagen Eye Pads (collagen, lactobacillus ferment) and Heimish Matcha Biome Hydrogel Eye Patch (matcha, ferments) sit under the eye and come in packs of 60. Genabelle is shaped to cover the upper eyelid too, comes in a pack of 70, and its hydrating ingredients are complemented by caffeine, peptides and PDRN. If you mainly care about the area under your eyes, any of them will do the job.

Who is the mask not for, and when should I choose another product?

Skip the mask if you require verified vegan skincare (we have not been able to confirm a vegan source of the PDRN) or have a confirmed allergy to any of its ingredients. If you are unsure about plant extracts, such as corn or broccoli, ask your doctor. If the skin around your eyes is easily irritated, test for tolerance on a small area first. It is not targeted care for pronounced dark circles, which can be linked to pigmentation or visible blood vessels. Deeper wrinkles call for more targeted care. If you want a simple everyday routine, start with an eye cream such as PURITO Wonder Releaf Centella Eye Cream Unscented.

Can I use the mask during pregnancy?

According to its ingredient list, the mask contains no retinoids. We still recommend discussing any new skincare with your doctor during pregnancy and breastfeeding and showing them the ingredient list below.

What to pair the Genabelle mask with

Practical tip: the mask is an extra, not a must. For everyday eye care, an eye cream and SPF in the morning are enough; save the mask for days when you want to give your eye area more hydration.

Korean PDRN derma skincare · 360° eye mask

Genabelle: Korean PDRN skincare and a hydrating 360° eye mask

Genabelle is a Korean derma skincare brand by Genalab, a Seoul company founded in 2017. Much of its range is built around PDRN: the PDRN Rejuvenating line includes, for example, a cream, a toner and masks. Alongside it, the Melacare line focuses on skin tone.

Does your eye area look tired and feel dehydrated after a short night, and would you like a comfortable hydrating treatment? That is why we chose Genabelle’s eye mask, which the brand shapes for the upper and lower eyelids.

Why we chose Genabelle

The Genabelle PDRN 360° eye mask is hydrating and does not rely on retinoids. Its essence combines niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, caffeine, adenosine and peptides, with PDRN as a supporting conditioning ingredient. It is fragrance-free and suits both morning and evening.

Among the under-eye patches at VIONE, it is the choice if you mainly want hydration and a fresher look, not care with retinal or retinol.

Who Genabelle is for

  • Your eye area looks tired and dehydrated, for example after a short night.
  • You want to care for the upper and lower eyelids in one step, as the brand describes the mask.
  • You want retinoid-free eye patches you can also use in the morning before make-up.

If you want to go a step further for fine lines, look at patches with retinal, such as K-SECRET Seoul 1988 Retinal Glow Eye Patch.

Genabelle at VIONE

We cannot confirm the vegan origin of every ingredient in this mask, so we do not label it as vegan.
