Product detailed description

Ampoule with PDRN, niacinamide and B vitamins · Dull skin lacking radiance

Your skin looks dull and tired even though you look after it, and it has lost the fresh, healthy look it used to have. Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink Vitamin Glow Boosting Ampoule is a lightweight hydrating ampoule (serum) for a more radiant-looking complexion: it combines niacinamide (vitamin B3), panthenol (B5) and vitamin B12 with ten forms of hyaluronic acid, plus PDRN as an additional conditioning ingredient. Pearlescent ingredients may optically contribute to a more radiant-looking complexion.

It is dispensed with an applicator according to the brand's instructions. At VIONE, we recommend it when you want hydration and radiance in one step, without exfoliating acids or a complicated routine. For dark spots and post-blemish marks, the sister ampoule with kojic acid is the better fit.

  • Type: hydrating ampoule (serum), 40 ml, with applicator
  • Suitable for: dull, tired-looking or dehydrated skin lacking radiance
  • Key ingredients: niacinamide, panthenol, vitamin B12, hyaluronic acid, PDRN (sodium DNA)
  • Fragrance-free · Serum step, morning and evening

Routine step

Cleanse Toner / essence Serum Moisturiser Eye care SPF Exfoliation Mask

Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink Vitamin Glow Boosting Ampoule is the Serum step: after toner, before moisturiser. Finish with SPF in the morning.

Who the Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink ampoule is for

  • Your skin looks dull and flat, especially in autumn and winter, with less daylight and more indoor heating.
  • Your skin is also dehydrated and you want hydration and a fresher look in one step.
  • You don't want exfoliating acids or strong actives, just a light layer that fits easily into your routine.
  • You like a radiant finish and don't mind pearlescent and colouring ingredients in the formula.
  • You are curious about PDRN and don't mind that the ampoule contains ingredients of animal origin.

When to choose something else: you want vegan skincare (the ampoule contains ingredients of animal origin) or have a fish allergy (retailers state that the PDRN is salmon-derived), you don't want colourants and pearlescent pigments in your skincare, or your main concern is dark spots and post-blemish marks.

Texture, applicator and “pink threads”

  • Light texture: retailers describe it as silky, fast-absorbing and non-sticky.
  • Pink threads in the bottle: retailers describe these as part of the serum's texture. The listed formula contains colourants and ingredients used to create a pearlescent effect, which may optically contribute to a more radiant-looking complexion. The exact formula and appearance remain subject to verification against the supplied product.
  • Applicator: you draw up the serum with the applicator according to the brand's instructions, so your fingers never go into the bottle.
  • Fragrance-free: the formula contains no perfume, essential oils or ethanol.

Tip: handle the applicator according to the brand's instructions, don't share it and don't let water get into the ampoule. Store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

Key ingredients: niacinamide, B vitamins, hyaluronic acid and PDRN

  • Niacinamide (vitamin B3): the best-researched ingredient in the formula. It may help even out the look of skin tone and support the skin barrier.
  • Panthenol (vitamin B5) and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin): panthenol is a well-established conditioning and hydrating ingredient; vitamin B12 is included as an additional ingredient. The word “Vitamin” in the name refers to these B vitamins, not vitamin C.
  • Ten forms of hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid and glyceryl glucoside: humectants that bind water. They help skin retain moisture, and well-hydrated skin looks fresher and smoother.
  • PDRN (listed as Sodium DNA): DNA fragments; the formula also contains hydrolysed DNA. Retailers state that it is salmon-derived, but the name Sodium DNA does not itself establish its origin. In aesthetic medicine, PDRN is mainly used as an injectable. In skincare it is an additional conditioning ingredient whose effects when applied topically are still being studied.
  • Hydrolysed collagen, elastin and fibronectin: conditioning ingredients that bind water on the skin's surface. Collagen applied to the skin does not, however, replenish collagen in the skin.
  • Peptides and adenosine: additional conditioning ingredients in the formula. We don't attribute a specific effect to them in this ampoule.

How to use Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink Vitamin Glow Boosting Ampoule

  • 1. Cleanse: a gentle cleanser; in the evening, if you wear SPF or makeup, start with a cleansing oil.
  • 2. Toner: dampen your skin with a hydrating or soothing toner.
  • 3. Ampoule: draw up a small amount of serum with the applicator according to the brand's instructions and apply to clean facial skin, avoiding the eye area. Massage in gently.
  • 4. Moisturiser: seal in the hydration with a cream.
  • 5. SPF in the morning: as the last step.
  • Frequency: for morning and evening use. If your skin is sensitive, start once daily and adjust according to tolerance.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink Vitamin Glow Boosting Ampoule

What is PDRN and what can I expect from it in this ampoule?

PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide, listed in the INCI as Sodium DNA) consists of DNA fragments, in this ampoule from salmon according to retailers. In Korea it became known mainly through aesthetic medicine, where it is injected. In skincare it is an additional conditioning ingredient whose effects when applied topically are still being studied. The hydration and fresher look come from the overall formula: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, panthenol and pearlescent ingredients. Don't expect the effect of an in-clinic treatment. Individual responses and the resulting skin feel may vary.

Does the ampoule contain vitamin C?

No. The word “Vitamin” in the name refers to the B vitamins listed in the formula: niacinamide (B3), panthenol (B5) and cyanocobalamin (B12). There is no vitamin C in any form in the ingredient list. If you are looking for a vitamin C serum, choose a product in serums & ampoules that explicitly contains it.

Is the ampoule suitable for sensitive skin?

With caution. The ampoule is fragrance-free and contains no exfoliating acids, but it does contain colourants and ingredients used to create a pearlescent effect, which sensitive skin may react to. Try it on a small area first. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, introduce new products one at a time and ideally after talking to your dermatologist.

How soon will I see a difference?

Pearlescent ingredients may optically contribute to a more radiant-looking complexion, and your skin may feel more hydrated after application. This is not a change in skin tone itself. Longer-term changes in how your skin looks cannot be guaranteed within a specific timeframe: it depends on what is making your skin look dull, your overall routine and how your skin responds to the ampoule. If it suits you, use it regularly.

Is the ampoule vegan? Can I use it if I have a fish allergy?

No, it is not vegan. It contains ingredients that are usually of animal origin, such as collagen, elastin and chondroitin sulfate. Retailers state that the PDRN is salmon-derived, but the name Sodium DNA does not itself establish its origin. If you have a confirmed fish allergy, do not use the product without prior advice from a qualified healthcare professional, and show them the ingredient list below.

How is it different from HEVEBLUE Salmon Caring Centella Ampoule?

Both ampoules contain PDRN but have a different focus. HEVEBLUE Salmon Caring Centella Ampoule is a soothing ampoule for sensitive skin prone to redness, built on centella asiatica leaf water and free of colourants. Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink combines PDRN with niacinamide and B vitamins, contains pearlescent ingredients and colourants, and is dispensed with an applicator. If your skin mainly reddens and stings, choose HEVEBLUE. If it mainly looks dull and lacks radiance, choose Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink.

Which Sungboon Editor ampoule should I choose?

Each one targets a different need; one is enough in your routine. Choose PDRN Pink if your main goal is to give dull-looking skin hydration and a more radiant finish. If you are primarily concerned about the appearance of dark spots or post-blemish marks, choose a serum specifically focused on uneven skin tone, such as Sungboon Editor Kojic Acid Niacinamide Brightening Ampoule with kojic acid and a gentle PHA. Sungboon Editor Silk Peptide EGF Intensive Ampoule contains no PDRN and is built on peptides and EGF for skin that is losing its feeling of elasticity. If you just want hydration without colourants or shimmer, consider Isntree Gim PDRN Hydro Bouncy Ampoule.

Who is the ampoule not for, and when should I choose another product?

Skip the ampoule if you want vegan skincare, have a fish allergy, don't want colourants and pearlescent pigments in your skincare, or need targeted care for dark spots. If you have extensive or rapidly changing dark spots, see a dermatologist first. If your skin is mainly irritated and red, choose a gentler serum in the barrier & sensitivity category.

Can I combine the ampoule with retinol, acids or vitamin C?

The ampoule itself contains no retinoids or exfoliating acids. Depending on tolerance, it may fit into a routine with active skincare. Introduce new products one at a time and follow the active product's instructions for order and frequency. Do not use the ampoule after microneedling, dermarolling or on broken skin. If your skin starts burning, becomes significantly red or begins to peel, stop using newly introduced products and return to a simple, well-tolerated routine. Consult a dermatologist if symptoms persist.

Can I use the ampoule during pregnancy?

According to its ingredient list, the ampoule contains no retinoids. The brand gives no information on pregnancy. We recommend discussing any new skincare with your doctor during pregnancy and breastfeeding and showing them the ingredient list below.

What to pair the Sungboon Editor PDRN Pink ampoule with

Practical tip: you don't need more serums for a fresher-looking complexion. Toner, the ampoule, a light moisturiser and SPF in the morning are enough. Add other active serums only once you know how your skin responds to the ampoule.

Korean ingredient-led ampoules · pores, tone, glow, firmness

Sungboon Editor: Korean skincare built around specific ingredients

Sungboon Editor is a Korean brand of face ampoules. Its name comes from the Korean word “sungboon” (성분), meaning ingredients. The concept follows the name: each ampoule is built on one or two key ingredients and aims at one specific goal. One of the brand’s notable products is the Green Tomato Pore Lifting Ampoule+.

Not sure which ampoule to choose? Start with what bothers you most about your skin. With Sungboon Editor, the answer is right in the product name.

Why we chose Sungboon Editor

We picked four ampoules, each with a clear role in a routine. That way you do not have to build a many-step routine: one ampoule between toner and moisturiser is enough, depending on what you are working on.

Which Sungboon Editor ampoule to choose

The Kojic Acid and Green Tomato ampoules contain a PHA. Do not use them in the same evening routine with each other or with retinal, for example Arencia Retinal Booster Shot. Alternate them on different evenings.

Sungboon Editor: frequently asked questions

Is Sungboon Editor a Korean brand?

Yes. Sungboon Editor is a Korean brand whose name comes from the Korean word for ingredients (성분, sungboon). It focuses on ampoules that target a specific skin concern.

Which Sungboon Editor ampoule should I start with?

Choose by your main concern: Green Tomato for enlarged pores, Kojic Acid Niacinamide for dull, uneven tone, PDRN Pink Vitamin Glow for skin lacking radiance, and Silk Peptide EGF for skin losing its bounce. We recommend starting with one ampoule.

Can I combine two Sungboon Editor ampoules?

Yes, but using two ampoules at once is not necessary. We recommend starting with one based on your main skin concern. Green Tomato and Kojic Acid contain exfoliating PHA, so it is sensible to avoid layering them in the same routine, especially if your skin is sensitive. Avoid introducing other strong actives at the same time and adjust frequency to your skin’s tolerance.

Is kojic acid allowed in cosmetics?

Yes. EU Regulation 2024/996 restricts kojic acid used as a skin-lightening ingredient to a maximum of 1% in face and hand products. This regulatory limit does not, by itself, confirm the concentration in the Sungboon Editor ampoule. When using an ampoule with kojic acid, protect your skin with SPF in the morning.
